Amusement Park Rides in Bangalore: A Family Guide

If you are weighing up the amusement park rides in Bangalore before spending a day on them, the honest question is not how many there are but whether they fill a day for the people you are bringing. A list of names tells you very little. What follows is what the rides and attractions at Club Cabana actually are, who each one suits, and how a day tends to be spent.

Rides get listed as one block far too often. In practice they divide by age and nerve, and knowing which is which saves an argument at the gate.

For younger children. The kids pool, the baby tank and the gentler water attractions are where under-eights spend most of the day. The rain dance is usually the part they remember.

For the middle group. Bowling, net cricket, archery and target shooting need no height clearance and no particular bravery, which makes them the reliable middle of the day for eight to fourteen year olds.

For teenagers and adults. The water slides, the wave pool, the bull ride, the rope course and the VR Arena. The VR Arena is the newest of these — motion-platform machines rather than a headset on a chair, so the seat moves with what you are seeing.

The water side of the park

The water attractions are the anchor of the day for most visitors: a wave pool, a 300m lazy river, water slides, the rain dance, a kids pool and a baby tank. On a warm October afternoon this is where the majority of a family will be, and it is worth planning the day around it rather than treating it as one stop among many.

How a full day usually runs

  • 9 AM — arrive. The gates open at nine and the first hour is the quietest the water will be all day.

  • Morning — water. Children go straight in and stay in. This is the longest single block of the day.

  • Lunch — buffet. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian; pure vegetarian and Jain preferences can be arranged if you mention it at booking.

  • Afternoon — dry rides and games. Bowling, archery, the rope course, VR. Useful when the younger ones need to be out of the water for a while.

  • 5:30 PM — close.

Things worth checking before you go

  • Height restrictions. Some rides carry a minimum height. Our ride height requirements guide has the details, and it is better read before the drive than at the queue.

  • Paintball needs numbers. A minimum of six people per session, so it is a group activity rather than a family one.

  • Everything is included. Rides and activities are covered by the day outing package rather than charged individually, so there is no per-ride budgeting.

Where to go next

Club Cabana is at Sadahalli, just before the International Airport toll gate, roughly ten minutes from Bengaluru International Airport. The full attractions list is on the amusement park page, the pools and slides are covered on the water park page, and prices and inclusions are on the day outing page. If the VR Arena is the draw, our VR games guide goes into what the machines are like.
